When I came to the Lord, I never imagined that I was going to be announcing the riches of Christ. You know, sometimes we have so many things and not so positive thoughts in our mind like “I can’t do it”, “That is not for me”, “I don’t think I was called to do that”. Not positive or good thoughts at all!
But, then something amazing happens when we decide to believe in what God is saying about us and the things that He wants to do THROUGH US! — In Ephesians 3:8 says:
To me, [though I am] the very least of all the saints (God’s people), this grace [which is undeserved] was graciously given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the good news of the incomprehensible riches of Christ [that spiritual wealth which no one can fully understand],
This verse represents the action of Paul to be humble and to exalt Jesus Christ. I know that grace is undeserved, but still God puts in my hand a big task of proclaiming the good news and the riches of Christ.
I can see the favor, the grace and the mercy manifested in it’s splendor. Have you ever felt that way too? Knowing you don’t deserve it, but God is available to pour out His love for us and in us!
This is what I am learning and discovering reading the book of Ephesians as part of my Summer Bible Reading Plan & Challenge. I invite you to immerse yourself in the Word of God!
Remember today to announce the riches of Chris, the good news of Salvation!
